Workshop - Wednesday 16 February 2022

Julie Howard: Spill the Beans

Time: 10.15 am – 12.00 pm
Cost:  $15 members, $20 non-members

Spill the Beans online writing community was a COVID love child – unexpected, unplanned, and now much loved.

We started as a coffee-loving writing group and emerged, to our surprise, as an online community. We invited writers to take writing challenges and, amazingly, writers from different cultures, writing experiences and age groups joined in. We shared their stories initially online and then in print format. With each challenge, friendships and partnerships grew.

This workshop will showcase some of our writers’ poems and stories. Bring your favourite writing device – pen, pencil, tablet or laptop so you can participate in short writing challenges. We encourage you to share your writing within the group or online. Do come along and enjoy a Spill the Beans writing adventure.  Check us out on
