Rita Shaw retired in 2009 after many years as a Bid Manager, writer, editor and proof reader in Sydney’s corporate arena, after starting her career at the University of NSW Library.
She is a professional wildlife photographer and has written a book, A Rhino Lady in Africa, on her experiences over 12 trips to Africa and love for some of the people she has met and many special encounters with animals, particularly rhinos. Rita’s extensive rhino collection was featured on the ABC’s The Collectors program in 2009.
Twilight sailing races on Pittwater are a favoured pastime, as well as crosswords, sudoku and Words with Friends.
