Margaret Zanardo
Paperback chapbook 2021
These are poems of love, struggle, perseverance and hope, set against the power of the sea and the mystery of the moon. Inspired by the ever-changing nature of the sea and written during the past year, these twenty poems reflect life’s joys and heartaches, along with the solace to be found in nature.
Margaret is a Sydney poet, writer and graphic designer. She is a member of Harbourside Poets and has had work published in a number of poetry journals.
Against the Tide is Margaret’s second poetry chapbook from Ginninderra Press.
“… images that swirl in wave and weather … Margaret’s longer poem sequence indicates a new maturity and control of poetic form and technique. A remarkable achievement” – Dr Dorothy Keyworth, Society of Women Writers
