Engaging with Ageing: What matters as we grow older continues to be very relevant, stimulating interest in the various forums, with its comprehensive and realistic coverage of what ageing is all about, including its positives and its challenges, and with the aim of destigmatising the word ‘old’ by combating the negative stereotypes of older and old age. It is a useful introduction into what growing older is actually all about in our society, as a time to make the most of in our individual ways and circumstances.
