Claire is a Sydney-based author, journalist and publisher whose career has spanned investigative journalism, business publishing, digital media and career coaching. A former business editor and founder of two independent online publishing ventures, Claire has long been interested in women’s work, reinvention and the social forces that shape later-life opportunity.
Her recent book, The Phoenix Project: A Career Change Playbook for Women Over 50, grew out of her own experience of rebuilding after career disruption, financial loss and major life change. Written for women navigating ageism, redundancy, self-employment, AI and new ways of earning, the book is practical and encouraging.
Claire is also developing family-history writing projects that explore Irish Catholic migration, women’s resilience and colonial life in New South Wales. She lives in Lane Cove, where she is active in local writing, history and community networks.
