Liz, now retired, has worked in the beauty, fashion, communications and building industry software areas as a Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager and Channel Partner. She has volunteered on many committees as Secretary, Publicity Officer, Group Counsellor, Cultural Officer, Business Development Manager and Events Manager.
Liz’s experience in creative writing came later in life. She enjoys writing short stories, poetry, Tanka, travel blogging, travel magazines and newspaper travel articles.
She has been a part of Meet up writing groups, fellowships, associations, workshops and retreats in writing. Completed many writing courses at the Australian Writers Centre and many workshops at The Society of Women Writers.
Liz has been part of six anthologies: 1. Hope with Meetup 2020 in print, eBook, Audio and Braille, 2. First Fleet Anthology FAW Wyong, 3. Central Coast Writes 2022 with Central Coast Council and Bravewords, and 4. Central Coast Writes 2023 with Central Coast Council and Bravewords. This year 5. FAW Eastwood Hills Celebrating Writing Anthology 2025, The Society of Women Writerss 100-year Women’s Ink! July 2025, 6. Colours Anthology Central Coast Creative 2025.
In her spare time, she loves writing for competitions, reading, walking, Tai Chi, trivia, travel and the gym. Currently Liz is writing a short story book and poetry.
