The first Hilarie Lindsay Prize competition is now closed. Thank you to all 69 entrants, who wrote about a variety of social justice issues! A longlist of entries has been sent to the judge, Angela Bowne, who is looking forward to reading the stories.
The shortlist will be announced in June and a special award ceremony will be held in July for presentation of the prize. Stay tuned for details …
The Society of Women Writers NSW is delighted with the response for this inaugural Hilarie Lindsay Prize and we will be running it again, opening towards the end of this year and closing in February 2027.
